Description
The houses at 1 and 2 Park Lane date to the 17th century and are built of rubble stone with a concrete plain tile roof and end stacks. They are double-fronted with mullion windows featuring hollow mouldings and hoodmoulds. The upper floor has two three-light windows in the gables, and a two-light and a three-light window on the ground floor, with a 20th-century porch in the centre housing the front door. An east-facing wall has a similar two-light window on the first floor. A north-east rear wing, belonging to No 2, has a north-facing stack, two casement windows above a door and a casement window below. A one-window range was added to the north side, built slightly lower than the existing structure.
