Description
The front wall and gate piers to Seend Lodge are a garden wall and gate piers from the early 19th century, constructed of red brick with ashlar coping. The gate piers are plain and feature a cornice. The lower wall on each side of the pedestrian gate extends approximately 25 meters to the east, reaching the south-east corner of the garden, and about 17 meters to the west, where it leads to two ramps that rise to similar but taller gate piers for stable entry. There is an additional 19 meters of wall to the left, extending to the south-west corner of the garden. This structure is included for its group value.
