Description
A row of three houses, dated 1797 on the stack, stands on the north side of Seend High Street. The houses are built of chequered brick with ashlar dressings, originally covered by a stone slate roof, though Down View now has a concrete tile roof. Two ridge stacks are visible. The houses are arranged over two storeys and an attic, with two original hipped dormers and a 20th-century dormer on Down View. Flush quoins, a brick band, and brick dentilled eaves are present. The houses feature a four-window front.
View Rosa has a ground floor sash window to the left, a door within a flush moulded stone surround topped with a hood on brackets, a 12-pane sash window above, and further 12-pane sash windows on each floor to the right. Piskey Cottage has a six-panel door in a similar stone surround with a hood on brackets, and 12-pane sash windows to each floor to the right. Down View has 20th-century windows replacing the original sashes on each floor, and a 20th-century window in the former doorcase with a hood on brackets to the right. An oval attic light is set into the east end wall.
