Description

Goodrest is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed of stuccoed brick with a plain tile roof. The roof is half-hipped to the west and features an east end stack along with one stack on the rear wall. The building stands two storeys high and has a three-window range, which includes a stucco moulded string course and rusticated quoins. The windows are exposed box sashes, with 20 panes on each side and a 16-pane window in the centre of the first floor above a six-panel door. This door is set in a flush stone surround and is topped with a hood supported by brackets. There is a 20th-century rear wing added to the property.
