Description

KEEVIL MAIN STREET ST 95 NW (off south side) Four monuments in the churchyard 7/143 between 2.5 and 5 metres east of Church of St Leonard GV II

Four chest tombs. Late C18 and early C19. Pair to west have one or two oval panels, scrolled carved decoration, fielded pilasters, plain friezes and flat tops, north of pair is badly sunk at time of survey (December 1986). Two tombs to north east; south one has beaded or fielded panels, north one has fielded panels and pilasters with scrolled decoration. Inscription on two western tombs illegible, north eastern pair to Burridge family.
