Description

Starlings is a house located on the south side of High Street in Market Lavington, dating from the early 19th century. It features Flemish brickwork and a slate roof, standing two storeys high with three bays. The central entrance leads into a stair hall, and there is a four-panelled door set in lined reveals, topped by a flat canopy supported on consoles. The ground floor has large tripartite 12-pane sash windows, while the first floor has simple 12-pane sashes, all adorned with gauged brick lintels that have slightly cambered soffits. The house is capped with gable stacks.
