Description

Rose Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a hipped tiled roof with an ashlar stack. The gable end faces the road. The cottage is two stories high and has a one-window front that looks out onto the road. The ground floor includes a blocked doorway and two 12-pane sash windows, along with a trellised verandah. On the first floor, there is one 12-pane sash window with louvred shutters. The roof has deep eaves. The left side of the cottage has additional sash windows and a 20th-century entrance porch. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in January 1986.
