Description

The Godfrey Monument is located in the churchyard about 1 metre east of the north-east chancel buttress of the Church of St. Margaret in Yatton Keynell. This early 19th-century tomb has a square plan and features a plinth and a pyramid cap. It is adorned with side plaques and Gothic panelled corner piers. The monument is raised on two steps and is surrounded by iron spearhead railings. The earliest date associated with the monument is 1822.
