Description

The Bewley monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 4 meters west of the south porch of the Church of All Saints. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of fine sandstone. The tomb features a moulded table, a chamfered base, and a plinth, with recessed corner balusters. It has notable inscriptions for Benjamin Bewley, who died in 1808, along with bas relief depictions of trees and an urn. Additional inscriptions commemorate his wife Martha, added in 1829, their son who died in 1836, and their daughter who passed away in 1837.
