Description

The lodge to Little Durnford Manor was built around 1900, possibly designed by Detmar Blow. It is constructed of flint with limestone dressings, featuring a first floor that is timber framed and jettied, with herringbone brick noggings and tile hanging on the gable. The entrance has a boarded door set within a stone-moulded and arched doorcase. The ground floor includes stone-mullioned windows, and there is a canted oriel window on the south gable. The roof is hipped over a canted west wing, and there is a brick stack. Additionally, there is a lean-to structure on the east side at the north end.
