This garden ornament, located near the south-west corner of the house, is a commemorative vase on a pedestal dating from 1780 to 1790, although it is likely from after 1800. Made of limestone, the vase features fluting, a running scroll, a gadrooned central knob, and sphinxes mounted on the lid. It has an inscription that reads "Manibus dore lilia plenis." The base bears a dedicatory inscription that states "HON: GUL: PITT / PAT: PATR :/ EUROP: LIBERAT:."
