Description

The Compton monument, located in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints, is an early 19th-century chest tomb situated 4 meters south of the chancel. It features a hipped top and a moulded base. The monument has two raised side panels that are flanked by fluted pilasters, with a draped urn positioned between the panels. It commemorates E. Mes Compton, who died in 1805.
