Description

This is an early to mid-19th century house situated in a row on Church Street, Market Lavington. The building is constructed of brick with a stone facade and a slate roof. It has two storeys and a cellar, with three bays arranged across the front. The lower half of the front elevation, below a decorative, guilloche-patterned band, is line rusticated. The facade features end pilasters that rise to an eaves band and are topped with Ionic capitals. The central entrance is a six-panelled door set within a doorcase of Ionic pilasters and a flat canopy. Casement windows are present, along with a four-paned sash window above the door, flanked by brackets with palmette detailing. The roof is hipped.
