Description

Ivy Place is a building dating from around 1800, located on the west side of Castle Street. It is three storeys high and constructed of rendered brick, topped with a common half hipped tiled roof. The building features an eaves band and has one window on each floor, consisting of two-light casements with cambered heads, which are taller on the ground floor. The doors are made up of four flush panels, some of which have been altered, and are set in plain surrounds with pedimented hoods. Nos 1 to 11 Ivy Place form a group.
