Description

This is a late 18th century building of three storeys. The front is brick at ground floor level, with the upper part tile hung with mathematical tiles. It has a gable end roof covered in old tiles, with a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The second floor features paired sash windows with flush frames and glazing bars. A central canted bay window projects from the first floor, with sash windows containing glazing bars, a cornice, and a plain apron. The ground floor has two flush-framed sash windows and a six-panel door topped with a three-pane rectangular fanlight, all beneath a small moulded fascia across the front. The building forms a group with numbers 2 to 18 (even), numbers 1 and 3, Friary Court, and Craddock House, The Friary. It also forms a group with The Old Bell Inn and St Anne's Garage on Exeter Street.
