Description
No. 12 Tutton Hill is a house dated 1711, featuring an early 19th-century upper floor and a low-pitched slate hipped roof. The front wall is made of squared rubble stone. The building is two storeys tall and double fronted, with two upper 6-pane windows. The central door on the ground floor has a cyma-moulded doorcase with the date 1711 above it and a hood supported by brackets. To the left, there is a recessed stopped ovolo-moulded 2-light window with a hoodmould, and to the right, a similar 3-light window, although one light is blocked. The house is raised above the street, accessible by six steps leading up to the door.
