Description
Tutton Hill House is a house dating from the early to mid 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone tile roof, coped gables, and end wall stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range and two hipped dormers. Notable architectural details include raised quoins and moulded string courses on the first and second floors. The windows are three-light bead-moulded mullion windows, and the central entrance has a cyma-moulded doorcase with a hood above. An added rear wing includes a door on the west side with a chamfered surround and a recessed cyma-moulded two-light window with a dripstone. Inside, the ground floor east room features a fine Regency reeded stone fireplace.
