Description
Nos 3 and 5 on Tutton Hill are a pair of houses, now combined into one, dating from the early 18th century. The building features an ashlar front with rubble stone construction and a stone tiled roof with coped gables. There is a west end stack. The structure is two storeys high and has a four-window range. It has a raised plinth and eaves band, along with a moulded string course. The windows are recessed with cyma-moulded mullions, including three original two-light windows on the first floor and a 20th-century window. On the ground floor, there is a three-light window, a 20th-century window replacing a door, and a three-light window with a door in a 20th-century projecting stone porch. At the rear, there is a curved stair tower. An addition made of rubble stone is located at the east end, which includes an east end stack and a first-floor two-light cyma-moulded window.
