Description
No. 24 Tutton Hill is a house dated 1737, featuring an ashlar front and a Bridgwater tile roof with end wall stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a double front. Its design includes a recessed wall face with a raised band, an eaves band, strips on the sides of the ground floor, quoins on the sides of the first floor, and raised window surrounds. The windows are cyma-moulded stone mullions, with two 2-light windows on the first floor and one 2-light and one 3-light window below. There is a central doorcase that is cyma-moulded, topped with a stone hood supported by brackets, leading to a 6-panel door. Inside, the ground floor features a bead-moulded stone fireplace, while the first floor has a bolection-moulded fireplace.
