Description
10 Queen Street is a Grade II listed building, dating from the 18th century, which may have been refronted from an earlier structure. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of painted brick. The building features a panelled ramped parapet with stone coping. On the second floor, there are two flush framed sash windows with intact glazing bars and keystones. The first floor has a central canted oriel bay window with sash glazing bar lights, topped by an ogee-shaped leaded roof that rises from a dentil cornice. Small sash lights with flat stucco arches and keystones flank the bay window. The ground floor has a modern shop front. Inside, there is an early 18th-century staircase. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 21 Queen Street.
