CASTLE COMBE MANOR HOUSE ST 8477 6/108 Bellcote to east side of Italian Garden of Manor House Hotel

GV II

Bellcote converted to garden seat, C15, ashlar. Stone spirelet from west end of St. Peter's Church, Biddestone, demolished 1846 and re-erected as garden seat in mid C19. Octagonal with 4 plain piers shouldered to carry octagonal spire with finial. Piers lengthened and 2 rear openings part blocked for stone seat.
