Description
This is an 18th-century cottage located on Park Lane in Castle Combe. It is constructed of whitened rubble stone with a roof covered in stone tiles, and has a stack on the south side. The cottage is two storeys high and has a two-window front. The first floor features a timber leaded window with a sash opening light, and a two-light stone-mullioned window with a recessed cyma-moulded surround, a hoodmould, leaded lights, and an iron opening light. On the ground floor, there is a timber leaded light, a plank door set within a shallow porch, and a three-light stone-mullioned window with a recessed cyma-moulded surround, a hoodmould, leaded lights, and an iron opening light. A lean-to addition is present on the south end and the rear of the building.
