Description

The garden building located to the south of The Close is an outbuilding with origins from the 17th or 18th century, which was altered around 1924 to 1929. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone-tiled roof, a west end wall stack, and a coped gable with a saddlestone. The building is one storey high with an attic and includes two 2-light mullion windows with hood moulds on the south side. On the east front, there is a door with a semi-circular hood supported by scroll brackets, along with a mullion window above it. The hood and windows are 20th-century alterations, and some of the stonework has been reused. This building is listed for its group value with other structures on The Green.
