Description

Dean House is a rectory, later adapted as a house, dating to approximately 1650-1700, with extensions from the 18th century and interior refitting from 1790-1800. The building is of particular interest as it spans two counties; the principal portion is located in Hampshire, within the Test Valley District and parish of West Tytherley, while a western extension lies within Wiltshire. The west wing is constructed of brick with a tiled roof, and a single-storey addition from the 20th century runs along the north front. The windows are twelve-paned sash windows. A suspended bell is also present.
