Description
Nos 6 and 7 on Oxford Street are 18th-century buildings. The ground floor is made of whitewashed brick, while the first floor and end elevations are tile-hung. They have a half-hipped tile roof and consist of two storeys with attics. The buildings feature a moulded wooden eaves cornice and two cased sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor. The ground floor has a slate pent roof supported by cut wooden brackets, above two canted bays with sashes that have original glazing bars; the sashes for No 6 are on iron brackets. There are two doors with moulded surrounds, with No 7's door having six flush panels. No 6 includes a planked cellar door and a cellar window with glazing bars. Additionally, there are two attic dormers with hipped roofs and casements that have original lead glazing bars. No 13 forms a group with Nos 1 to 4, which are consecutive, and The Parade.
