Description

Lower Paxcroft Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed rubble stone, topped with a Bridgwater tiled roof featuring gable end brick stacks. The building is designed in an L-shape and stands two stories high with two windows on the front. The central entrance door has six vertical panels, with a 16-pane sash window on either side. On the first floor, there are two 2-light flush mullioned casements. A wing to the left of the rear includes segmental-headed 2-light late 19th-century casements, along with a late 19th-century addition at the north end. The interior was not accessible during the survey conducted in May 1987.
