Description

Conservatory Cottage is a house dated 1720, constructed from limestone rubble with limestone dressings. It features a rear gable stack and a stone slate roof that is hipped at the front and gabled at the rear. The building has a single-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a single window range. It is characterized by large irregular quoins, a porch, and an entrance located on the right-hand side, along with steps leading up to a rear doorway. The windows consist of paired 9/9-pane sashes with plain dressings, and there is a single sash window on the first floor above the entrance. A date stone inscribed with "1720/SES" is also present. The interior has not been inspected.
