NUMBERS 10-13, EASTON

Numbers 10 to 13 in Easton are a row of four cottages built in the 18th century. They are constructed from rubble stone, with a stone-tiled roof on No 10 and plain tiles on the others.

No 10 features a squared rubble double front with coped gables, end stacks, flush quoins, and bands on each floor. It has one 2-light and one 3-light flush cyma-moulded mullion window on each floor, along with a central door that has a hood supported by brackets. The blocked end wall has a 2-light window and a single light in the attic.

No 11 is double-fronted with end stacks on the front roof slope. It is two stories high, featuring 2-light windows on the left and a 3-light window on the right. The first-floor windows are ovolo-moulded, while the ground-floor windows are flush cyma-moulded with hoodmoulds. The central door is set in a chamfered flush surround.

No 12 is also double fronted, with 3-light ovolo-moulded windows on the left and 2-light flush cyma-moulded windows on the right. It has a central door in a chamfered flush surround.

No 13 is double fronted as well, featuring two 2-light flush cyma-moulded windows on each floor and a central door with a hood on brackets. It has end-wall stacks.
