Description
No. 10 Long Street is a 18th-century, two-storey building made of red brick, standing on a projecting plinth with splayed stone capping. It features stringcourses above the first and second-floor windows, a moulded stone cornice, a brick parapet, and moulded wood coping. The building has stone quoins and a slate roof. There are five windows on the upper floor, with the second window from the left being false. The outer windows are spaced closely together and are fitted with sashes that have intact glazing bars. The ground floor has four windows, all of which have raised stone surrounds with moulded edging. The central door is recessed and consists of six fielded panels, two of which are glazed, set within a stone surround that includes carved stone brackets, a cornice, and a pediment. Nos. 8 to 30 Long Street form a group with this building.
