Description

The Arnot and Wilson monuments are a pair of 18th-century chest tombs located in the churchyard, 7 meters south of the nave of the Church of St. Peter. They are made of limestone and feature a cyma moulded table and a chamfered base. The tomb to the east is dedicated to Sarah Arnot, who died in 1730, and includes an incised hourglass and bones. The tomb to the west is for Ann Wilson, who died in 1703.
