Description
The Ludlow Arms Public House is a late 18th century to early 19th century building that has been altered. It is constructed of brick on a painted stone plinth, featuring flush stone quoins and an old tile roof with brick gable end chimneys. On the first floor, there are four pointed arched casement windows with painted stone surrounds, which have 19th century lights. The ground floor has a yard entry on the left side, a large four-centred arched opening with a chamfered stone surround, a keystone, and projecting springers, along with two modern windows and a four-panel double door topped with a modern rectangular fanlight. The building is prominently located opposite West End and next to Market Place. At the rear, there is a two-storey gabled extension with a stepped chimney.
