Description

This is a house located at the end of a row in Codford High Street. It dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The house is built of rendered rubble stone with a tiled roof, featuring coped verges and gable end stacks made of stone and brick. It has an L-shaped layout. The front of the house is two storeys high and has two windows. A 20th-century door is positioned to the left of centre, alongside a 2-light 20th-century casement window on the right. Two 20th-century casement windows are on the first floor. The rear of the house has a return with a hipped roof and 2-light casement windows. There is a 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement window on the ground floor and a single-light recessed chamfered casement window on the first floor. The interior was not accessible for inspection in March 1987.
