Description

No 76 High Street is a house in a row, dating from the 17th century and altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone, with some parts rendered, and features a Welsh slate roof with coped verges and gable end brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has two windows. There is a 20th-century door to the right, a blocked central doorway with an inserted fixed window, and a single-light and a three-light casement window to the left. The remains of a damaged string course and a hoodmould can be seen above the door. On the first floor, there are two three-light recessed chamfered mullioned casements. The interior was not accessible at the time of the survey in March 1987.
