Description

Heale Bridge is a bridleway bridge over the River Avon, located between Salterton and Netton. It dates from the 18th century and is constructed of brick. The bridge features a single carriageway supported by five graded segmental arches made of 27-centimeter brick rings, which have expressed keys. Each bay is separated by brick pilasters that have stone chamfered coping and rounded cutwaters. Additionally, there is a stone string course and a 27-centimeter brick parapet topped with flush half-round brick copings.
