House. Early C19, attributed to Decimus Burton, 1918 extension by Rudman. Squared, coursed limestone, ashlar ridge stacks and a slate hipped roof. Late Georgian style. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. First-floor plat band and overhanging eaves. Entrance front has a central ashlar portico with a round-arched doorway and bracketed hood, radial fanlight and panelled door, and wrought-iron boot scraper. Garden front has a central section set forward with a wide full-height bow with 3 French windows, and 4-pane casements to the first floor, 4/4-pane right-hand sashes, and a left-and ashlar parapeted extension with 3 French windows; margin panes. INTERIOR: details include decorated cornices and original fire places, and a cantilevered stone open-well stair has a wrought-iron balustrade.
