Description

Warren House is a pair of semi-detached cottages, built around 1800 and now combined into a single residence. The house is constructed from coursed rubble stone with a half-hipped thatched roof and brick stacks. It is two storeys high and has a four-window front. The ground floor features casement windows, including a central 6-panelled door with a segmental hood. To the left of the main door is a gabled porch containing a planked door, and to the right are a 1-light, two 2-light, and one 3-light casement window. The first floor mirrors the ground floor with one 1-light, two 2-light, and one 3-light casement window. The rear of the building includes a tiled lean-to extension and 2-light casement windows. The interior was not accessible for inspection in June 1985. Warren House represents an unaltered example of a cottage built on the Longleat Estate.
