Description
Pound House is a row of three cottages, now combined into one, dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of rubble stone and features a stone slate roof with end stacks and one ridge stack. It has two storeys and an attic, with cyma-moulded flush mullion windows that include small paned lights. On the left side, there are three-light, two-light, and two-light windows on each floor, followed by a 20th-century enclosed stone porch. To the right, there are two-light windows on the first floor and two-light windows on the ground floor. The building has flush quoins, and two doors have been removed. There are attic lights in the end walls, and a south-west rear wing that has a one-window range of two-light windows on its south side.
