Description

The Dunsdon and Hulbert monuments are a pair of chest tombs located in the churchyard about 1.5 metres northeast of the Brewer monument, at the southeast angle of the south aisle of the Church of St. Bartholomew. These tombs date from around 1845 and are constructed from ashlar stone. They feature fielded side plaques that are flanked by fielded strips and have baluster corners. Each tomb has a moulded base and cornice. The Dunsdon monument is inscribed to S.H. Dunsdon, who died in 1845, while the Hulbert monument commemorates Emma Hulbert, who died in 1843, and T. Hulbert of Ridgeside, who died in 1851.
