Description
Stowells Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the later 18th century. It is constructed from rubble stone and features a stone tiled roof with coped gables and end wall stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. Notable architectural details include flush quoins, a first floor band, and two hipped eaves dormers. The windows are flush cyma-moulded mullion windows, with three 2-light windows on the upper floor and two 3-light windows below. The central entrance has a 9-panel door set in an architrave, topped with a hood on brackets. Additionally, there is a stone inscribed 'TR 1774' on the south-west corner. The farmhouse has a parallel rear range.
