Description
The Waite headstone, made of limestone, is laid flat in the path next to the ledger of Robert Butler, dating from 1685. It commemorates Elizabeth Waite and features a simple, naive design with a winged head and foliage. The headstone is located 5 meters west of the south porch door of the Church of St. Bartholomew and All Saints in Wootton Bassett.
