Description
Pound Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with 19th century alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble that is rendered, featuring stone dressings around the windows and gabled stone slate roofs with lateral stone stacks topped with brick caps. The building has an L-shaped plan and the north front is two storeys high with three windows. The windows are three-light chamfered mullions with hoodmoulds and small leaded pane casements. There is a central gabled stone porch from the 19th century, which has a panelled door with a rectangular top light. The interior was inaccessible during the last survey in July 1986 as the house was unoccupied.
