Five monuments. Late C18-early C19. Limestone. Lettered east to west and north to south. a) Chest tomb. William Keene. 1785. Angle pilasters and single panels to each side with shallow relief trumpetting putti to borders and florid incised Roman and italic lettering. Moulded base and cyma recta moulded slab. b) Triangular pedestal tomb. John and Thomas Keene. 1803. One metre high with inscription shields to each side: incised Roman lettering. Moulded base, paterae and reed frieze and cambered top. The whole set within an enclosure whose railings have been stripped. c) Chest tomb. Hester Keene. 1796. Angle pilasters and single panels to each side with shallow relief putti to borders and florid incised Roman and italic lettering. Moulded base and cyma recta moulded slab. d) Casket-shaped tomb. Thomas and Mary Keene, 1832. Deeply incised Roman and italic lettering painted black to both sides. Moulded base and cambered top. e) Chest tomb. Joseph and Sarah Keene, 1792. Angle pilasters and single panels to each side with shallow relief trumpetting putti to borders and florid incised Roman and italic lettering. Moulded base and cyma recta moulded slab.
