Description
This is a circa 1857 terraced cottage located on Adcroft Street. It is two storeys high and built of ashlar. The front has two window bays, with slab surrounds. A band runs along the top of the ground floor, and there are brackets beneath the gutter. The roof is covered with cement pantiles, and the windows are plate glass sashes. A plain doorway is situated to the right of the centre window, with a larger segmental archway immediately to its right, featuring a keystone. This cottage forms part of a group with numbers 1 to 13 (consec), the central block of the District Hospital, and numbers 16 to 29 (consec) on Adcroft Street.
