Description

House, early to mid C18, ashlar and rubble stone with stone tiled roof and coped west gable Two storeys and attic. Ashlar north front with wallface stack, coved eaves cornice, string course and high plinth. Channelled angle pilasters. One hipped dormer, 3- window range of 12-pane sashes in raised moulded surrounds, top right window blank. Three basement 2-light flush cyma-moulded windows. West end wall is ashlar with channelled angle pilasters, attic casement pair in architrave, first floor small Venetian window, 3-12-3 panes, with rusticated centre arch and keystone. String course over ground floor., Twelve-pane sash in raised moulded surround to right and door to left in bead-moulded surround recessed in rusticated segmental arched doorway with imposts, keystone and pediment on brackets over. Two rounded steps up to door. East end wall has gable casement and first floor 2-light mullion window, ovolo-moulded with cyma-moulded mullion and ground floor 2-light flush cyma-moulded window.
