Description
This building is a barn located to the west of Askew Bridge House, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of squared and coursed rubble, featuring timber and some concrete lintels, with plank doors and a gabled stone slate roof. The barn is a long five-bay structure, with gables at both the right end and the center. There are stone steps leading up to a loft door in the central gable, with doors on either side of the steps and a three-light casement window to the left. A clock is set below the eaves to the right of the central gable, and there are three S-shaped iron ties to the left.
