CORSHAM CHURCH SQUARE ST 8770 5/92 Brakspear monument in churchyard about 4m from east boundary wall east of south aisle of Church of St. Bartholomew GV II

Tomb, c1899, probably by Sir H. Brakspear, red sandstone with heavy inscribed plinth and low ridged top divided into 6 panels. Ornate circled cross with ballflower ornament at head. Lower curved- headed carved footstone. Inscriptions to W.H. Brakspear, architect, died 1898, of The Priory, Corsham, and to Sir H. Brakspear KCVO, died 1934, architect, of Pickwick Manor.
