Description
Court Cottage is a terraced house built in the 18th century, with a date inscribed on the lintel as W D 1779. It has undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building features coursed rubble with flush rusticated dressed stone quoins, and there are blocked dressings to the windows. The stone slate roof is hipped at the east end, with a stone stack on the right end and a further brick ridge stack.
The north front is two storeys high and has three windows, with a one-bay garage element to the right, which was formerly No 6. The windows are twelve-pane sashes set in blocked surrounds on the main house, while a larger twelve-pane sash is located to the right above the garage gates. There is also one hipped dormer featuring a two-light, two-pane 19th-century casement. The central entrance has a gabled glazed porch with two-leaf outer doors and a glazed inner door. To the right, there are two-leaf garage gates.
