Description

The United Reform Church is a Congregational church built in 1854, funded by Charles Jupe. It features dressed limestone and a Welsh slate roof with coped verges. The gable end faces the road and includes an entrance with a pointed moulded doorway and a hoodmould. Above the doorway are four stepped trefoil-headed lancets with trefoils above, a quatrefoil, and angle buttresses. The left and right sides of the church have four lancets and buttresses as well. At the rear, there is a lean-to vestry with 4-pane sash windows. Inside, the church retains its original pews and reading desks at the west end, along with a 4-bay roof supported by pseudo hammer beam trusses.
