Description

The Bell Cottage is a cottage located at the end of a row in East Knoyle, dating from around 1700. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a thatched roof with a hip to the left and a brick stack to the right. The building is two storeys high and has three windows. The central doorway is blocked, with two inserted 2-light casements on either side. The first floor includes a 2-light leaded casement and a 3-light leaded casement. The entrance has been relocated to a 20th-century porch attached to the left side, made of dressed limestone. At the rear, there is a brick wing with stone quoins and 2-light casements.
