Description

The Young tomb is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 18 meters south of the west end of the Church of St. Nicholas. It dates from around 1800 and is constructed from ashlar with square inscription panels made of pennant stone and fluted angle strips. The tomb features a moulded base and cornice, and has a square plan with tall proportions. The earliest date inscribed on the tomb is 1801.
